Blog: Cryptocurrency

Overview

This deliverable was for the PTW 320 Technical Writing class at University of Washington. For the duration of the class we worked in groups, delivering one portfolio piece every three weeks. We rotated project roles for each deliverable. I served as the Editor. As a team, we decided to create a blog about cryptocurrency.

Challenges faced

The primary challenge I faced was waiting for the written and production content to be done so I could make any edits. The editing itself wasn’t the challenge, it was more operating on the team’s schedule. Again, we were on a tight deadline so the timeframe from initial conception to final result felt immense under the scope of the project.

Problems Solved and Content’s Impact

The intended audience was individuals new to cryptocurrency seeking to better understand the topic and make informed decisions about different types of crypto and the basics of investing. Cryptocurrency is a rapidly growing system that remains unfamiliar to many. This blog aims to bridge that knowledge gap by highlighting both the positive and negative aspects of the platform. While it does not offer investment strategies, it explores relatively stable cryptocurrencies and provides insight into how crypto payments are made and stored.
